Breathe life back into pavers

Restore the Color You Thought Was Gone

Time, weather, and wear take a toll on pavers — dulling color, loosening joints, and leaving behind buildup. Outdated or failed acrylic and xylene seals leave a foggy, white haze that can't be rinsed away; it has to be chemically stripped. Our restoration combines deep cleaning, stripping, re-sanding, color, and a fresh rejuvenation seal to bring tired surfaces back to life — for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

  • Removes foggy / white haze from failed seal
  • Lifts rust, pottery, and efflorescence stains
  • Color enhancement or complete color change
  • Re-sanding, rejuvenation seal & optional non-slip

Our premium signature process

Restoration Done Right, Step by Step

Every phase is handled with expert attention to detail — from surface prep and stripping to re-sanding, color, and a protective rejuvenation seal.

Deep Clean & Assess

Every restoration starts with a thorough deep clean to remove dirt, algae, mildew, and buildup — followed by a full assessment of your pavers, joints, and any existing seal so we plan the right approach.

Chemical Stripping

Foggy, cloudy, or white-hazed pavers are almost always a failed acrylic or xylene seal. That haze can't be washed away — it requires a chemical strip to dissolve and lift the old product back to raw paver.

Not sure if old seal remains? Request a strip estimate and we'll assess your surface before the work begins.

Stain & Haze Removal

We target rust, battery and pottery stains, efflorescence, and stubborn haze with specialized treatments — clearing the discoloration that ordinary pressure washing leaves behind.

Polymeric Re-Sanding

We refill and lock the joints with premium polymeric sand (standard sand available too), stabilizing pavers, reducing shifting and washout, and choking out weeds and ant hills.

Rejuvenation Seal + Non-Slip

We finish with a premium water-based rejuvenation seal that enriches color and guards against moisture, UV fade, mold, and stains — with an optional anti-slip additive for pool decks and lanais, in matte or wet-look.

Optional Maintenance Program

Keep your restored pavers looking new for good. Enroll in a PWP Seal Maintenance Program for scheduled touch-ups and priority service so they never slide back to faded and grimy.

See the difference

What a Failed Seal Does to Your Pavers

A bad or failing seal leaves pavers foggy, cloudy, and dull — masking the rich color underneath. Watch a failed product scraped off by hand and stripped away with a turbo nozzle to reveal the clean paver beneath.

Tough Oil & Grease Stains

Oil, grease, and deep-set stains don't lift in a single pass. Our oil-stain removal is a multi-visit process — several rounds of targeted stripping and treatment across multiple appointments — to draw the stain up out of the paver and restore an even, clean finish before we reseal.

Restore — don't replace

Restoration vs. Tearing It Out

You don't have to rip out and rebuild to get pavers that look new again. Compare your options.

Paver Restoration FAQs

When is the best time to restore my pavers?

Summer is the best time to restore your pavers. It's our slower season, so scheduling is easy — and frequent summer rains help rinse and dilute our cleaning and stripping solutions to protect surrounding landscaping. We work year-round, but summer is ideal.

What is paver restoration?

Paver restoration brings tired, faded, or foggy pavers back to life. It typically includes a deep clean, chemical stripping of any failed seal, stain and haze removal, polymeric re-sanding of the joints, color enhancement or a complete color change, and a fresh rejuvenation seal — with an optional non-slip additive. Request an estimate here.

My pavers look foggy, cloudy, or white — can you fix that?

Yes. A foggy or white haze is almost always a failed acrylic or xylene-based seal. It can't be washed off — it requires a chemical strip to dissolve and lift the old product back to raw paver, after which we re-sand and apply a fresh water-based seal.

Can you change the color of my pavers?

Yes. We offer color enhancement to revive and deepen your existing color, or a complete color-change stain to transform faded or dated pavers into a fresh, modern color that complements your home.

Do I need restoration or just sealing?

If your pavers are faded, stained, foggy from old sealer, or have failing joints, that's restoration. If they're in good shape and simply need protection, our Stone & Paver Sealing service is all you need.

What is chemical stripping, and why is it sometimes necessary?

Chemical stripping uses a specialized product to dissolve and remove old, failed, or incompatible seal back to raw paver. New seal won't bond over a failed product, so stripping is required whenever there's a foggy haze, peeling, or a previous oil/acrylic seal.

Will restoration get rid of weeds and loose joints?

Yes. We refill and lock the joints with premium polymeric sand, which stabilizes the pavers, reduces shifting and washout, and sharply cuts down weeds and ant hills. Standard sand is also available.

Is restoration really cheaper than replacing my pavers?

In most cases, yes — restoration costs a fraction of a full tear-out and rebuild, with no demolition, no landfill waste, and no weeks of disruption, while delivering a like-new result. Request an estimate here.

Can you make my pool deck or lanai non-slip?

Yes. We can add an anti-slip additive to the rejuvenation seal — ideal for pool decks, lanais, and walkways — in either a matte or wet-look finish.

Do you seal after restoring, and can I keep it protected long-term?

Always. Restoration finishes with a premium water-based rejuvenation seal, and you can enroll in a PWP Seal Maintenance Program for scheduled touch-ups and priority service so your pavers stay protected for good.
